Tuesday 27th October
Waikanae School, Kapanui School and the local Kaumatua of Whakarongotai Marae are gathering together for a day of learning. We have an extremely busy day lined up and the collaborative involvement with Kapanui School is another way we are trying to strengthen our community for our tamariki. Thanks to Miss Lake and the local iwi, our schools will be working together to learn about the maori culture, it's importance and what it means to the children we teach. Support staff and our school relievers have been invited to attend this day of learning also. I'll post more photos on the day :)
