First Aid in Room 10

A massive day of learning for Room 10 today.

Each of the children received a booklet which they worked through.  Louise from the Red Cross was fabulous and taught the children vital information and strategies. 

We covered:

DRSABC - Danger, Response, Send for help, Airway, Breathing, Circulation

Shock

Choking

Nosebleeds

Broken Bones

Burns and Scalds

Poisons

In order for the information to sink in further, the children will bring their booklets home so they can show everyone how it's done :)

We played a game to help us remember.  The hard part was, we weren't allowed to TALK!  Soooo hard for Room 10 ;)
