Frank van Kampen Shield - Waikanae School Winners

This is Mr van Kampen who used to teach with Mrs Cameron at Kapanui School.  He was a passionate rugby man who loved to be involved with sport in the school.  Mr van Kampen was larger than life and had a laugh you could hear from miles away.  He was tragically killed 5 years ago (18th Sep) while he was riding his bike home from a days teaching.  Waikanae and Kapanui School honour his memory by competing for the Frank van Kampen shield each year.  This year, Nathan from our class has been asked to play in the tackle rugby team with the senior boys!  GO NATHAN!!!!
