Assembly - Go Room 10
Last Friday's whole school assembly saw a massive amount of recognition and certificates handed out. Wow room 10!!
Road patrol, class awards and Otago Problem solving participants.
Calendar Art - How awesome do they look?!!!
For our calendar art this year we have cross linked across the curriculum. We chose to base our design on Pasifika Art and with that the idea blended nicely into our geometry unit in mathematics. I have done a similar piece of art with other classes however these children have blown it out of the park. They have done a stellar job. At one point I wondered what we had gotten ourselves into with folding, design, colouring, crinkling, using dye, PVA glue, tearing and sticking with 30 children BUT the mess and chaos was well worth it. They are stunning.
